Here at RAM Pavement, we have fostered a culture of giving back. We know that we wouldn’t be here if not for the community in which we work, from the technicians who do the grunt work all the way to the founder and C.E.O. Our desire to give – be it through volunteering, donating, or simply praying – sets us apart as human beings. The community here in the Carolinas has done so much for us and our families, and we take the opportunity to give back whenever we can. Here are just a few things RAM has done recently!
Go Jen Go
Go Jen Go
RAM Pavement has been a proud sponsor of the Go Jen Go Foundation for the past four years. This nonprofit institution is dedicated to providing financial assistance to families in North and South Carolina that are battling breast cancer, providing aid during diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
24 Foundation
24 Foundation
The President of RAM Pavement, Rob Miller, has participated in the 24 Foundation for the past nine years. This annual bike race in the Myers Park area has grown significantly in participation over the years. In 2017, the 1200 competing cyclists raised nearly $1.6 million for the Levine Cancer Institute in addition to various local charities.
ALSTDI and Joe Martin Foundation
ALSTDI and Joe Martin Foundation
RAM Pavement has participated in donating to the ALS cause since 2010. The ALS Therapy Development Institute and its scientists actively discover and develop treatments for ALS. They are the world’s largest nonprofit biotech that focuses 100% on ALS research. They are led by people who are themselves ALS survivors, as well as drug development experts, so they have first-hand knowledge of the urgent need to slow and STOP this disease.
